Today we’d like to introduce you to two new people who have recently joined SuperEval which is a division of PLS 3rd Learning. Dan Shannon is SuperEval’s new Account Manager and Melissa Burnfield joins us as a new Account Executive.
Meet Dan Shannon

Dan Shannon joins us as the Account Manager for SuperEval where he will be onboarding and training new users, while building relationships with current users. His past experience includes a background in Edu Tech, spending the last five years at Texthelp as a Customer Success Manager working with school districts in Canada. Before that, Dan worked with teachers and administrators to help set up and coordinate European trips for them and their students.
Dan resides north of Boston in Danvers, Massachusetts with his wife Bridget and their 18 year old dog Roxie. When he is not working you can find Dan on the golf course, at the beach, or watching the New England Patriots. (And since our headquarters are located in Buffalo, NY, we’re going to have to round that out with a “Go Bills!”)
Meet Melissa Burnfield

In her new role at SuperEval, Melissa will be introducing and educating school districts about the value of using SuperEval. In her previous role at Edtech sales at Niche.com, she sold digital marketing solutions to K-12 schools and colleges. Other experience includes fundraising for school districts, managing a team of sales reps, and working as a Career Development Specialist where she presented to and recruited high school students for Pittsburgh Technical College.
When asked about her new role, Melissa said, “I am excited about the opportunity to introduce an innovative platform to education leaders, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment with an incredible culture and wonderful people.”
Melissa resides in Mars, PA with her two cats Cosmo and Cookie. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her daughter Brooke who is currently a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh. She also enjoys hiking, traveling, and reading.
